Bret Noël has multiple roles in the UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music, serving as the coordinator and administrator for the School’s Faculty Executive Committee, as well as the program coordinator for the Gluck Fellows Music Outreach Program. His responsibilities include assisting the Chair of the Faculty in reviewing academic proposals, working with the Undergraduate Council and Graduate Division on course and program approval, coordinating educational outreach programs, and scheduling community performances that reach over 8,000 people per year.

A life-long Bruin, Bret completed his B.A. in Psychology as well as his M.M. in Horn Performance at UCLA. He freelances and teaches on horn, trumpet, and voice and is also active in the Los Angeles a cappella community as an arranger, musical director and bass singer. During the holiday season, he is a member of L.A.'s premier caroling group, The Jollys ( Bret is thrilled to be a part of the fantastic School of Music Staff during this exciting period of change at the new UCLA Herb Alpert School of Music.
