Music Lecturer and Composer Adam Schoenberg Announces Performances of works

We have heard from Adam Schoenberg, theory and composition teacher in the Department of Music, about some of the recent activity surrounding some of his compositions.

He says:

“The IRIS Orchestra, conducted by Michael Stern, performed Finding Rothko at the Germantown Performing Arts Centre in Tennessee on October 12. Finding Rothko will be performed by 7 orchestras this season, including the National Symphony Orchestra and Pacific Symphony. Here is the review from this past weekend:

Also, the Nordwestdeutsche Philharmonie, conducted by Eugene Tzigane, presented the German premiere of La Luna Azul in Minden on October 10, and had additional performances in Herford (11 Oct), Bad Salzuflen (12 Oct), Detmold (15 Oct), and Paderborn (16 Oct).”
