Professor Antonio Lysy heads summer music festival in Tuscany

We received this information from Music Department Professor of Cello and Chair of Strings Antonio Lysy. He will again this summer be participating “Incontri in Tierra de Siena,” a chamber music festival being held from July 23 – 31, 2010 (more i nformation at: http://itslafoce.org/?action=home). In addition he will be cello professor for the “Rencontres Musicales Camerata Lysy” at the Palazzo Ricci in Montepulciano, Tuscany. This festival will be hosted by the Europ?ische Akademie F?r Musik und Darstellende Kunst at Palazzo Ricci. This year’s festival is dedicated to the memory of Lysy’s father, renowned violinist Alberto Lysy.

In addition to the festivals mentioned above, Professor Lysy will be on the string faculty for the Toronto Summer Music festival being held at the University of Toronto from July 19 – August 14.
