TECHNIQUES:

· Scales: major, minor (harmonica and melodic) and chromatic, 2 octaves = 60 in sixteenth notes

· Arpeggios: major and minor, 2 octaves = 60 in sixteenth notes

· Sight-reading: a Bach Flute sonata at moderate temp without stopping

· Etudes: Kang-Elert, 30 Caprices

For Junior and Senior Performance Specialists

· Scales: major, minor 9harmonic and melodic), diminished, modal and

whole tone, 2 octaves = 76 in sixteenth notes

· Arpeggios: major 7, minor 7, diminished 7, and augmented chords,

octaves = 60

· Sight-reading: Briccialdi, 6 Grand Studies at moderate tempo

· Etudes: Bozza, Arabesques
