The UCLA Division of Voice and Opera offers degrees at the undergraduate (B.A.) and graduate (M.M., D.M.A.) level. Below is a summary of dates and deadlines for application to the Department of Music. • The UCLA application for graduate admission and music department supplemental materials are due by December 1st of each year.

• Undergraduates file a general UCLA application November 1st through 30th each year. Supplemental materials and the pre-screening CD are due in early January of each year. Please visit UCLA undergraduate admissions for more information.

Applicants who successfully pass the pre-screening round will receive an audition date and time by e-mail. Live auditions are held at the UCLA campus and are scheduled for January 31, 2009 and/or February 7, 2009 and/or February 14, 2009. Specific dates for each instrument will be determined at the end of Fall quarter. Late applications may be granted consideration on a case-by-case basis.
