The UCLA Department of Music invites applications for a part time faculty position in Trombone

 

Responsibilities

 

Successful applicant is responsible for instruction of graduate and undergraduate trombone students; conducting master classes; recruitment of new students; and participation in departmental auditions and juries. Additional duties may include coaching chamber music ensembles, conducting the Brass Ensemble, and/or performing with the Faculty Brass Quintet.

 

 

Qualifications

 

Applicant should have an established regional, national and/or international reputation as a performer and teacher. A post-baccalaureate degree is preferred. The candidate should be an inspiring teacher and demonstrate expertise in varying styles of performance.

 

Rank: commensurate with qualifications and experience.
