ALIX VON BOSEN is an Administrative Specialist and the Assistant to the Chair of the Music Department, as well as serving as the Website Administrator for the Music Department. In addition, she also coordinates parking, grades, textbook requisition, and directory services for the department.
Alix obtained a B.A. degree in Music (voice) from U.C. Riverside, followed by an M.L.S. degree from UCLA. After graduation, she spent two years in the U.S. Peace Corps in Tunisia, where she was Librarian at the National Cancer Institute in Tunis.
Before coming to UCLA she held various positions as administrator, personnel director, administrative assistant and office manager with firms in a variety of industries, which included law, public relations, and financial services (where she obtained her Series 7 and Series 63 securities licenses). Alix joined the Music Department on November 1st, 2001.
